Southwest Washington is easy to get to, but hard to leave. Vancouver and Clark County are conveniently located to major interstate highways, airports, railways, bus lines. Below is some information designed to get you where you want to go.

By Car
Interstate 5, the major north-south artery for the west coast traveler, goes directly through our area. And right across the river, I-84, running along the Oregon side of the Columbia River, provides easy access from the West. A number of other state highways give Southwest Washington easy access to visitors from the Northwest and Southwest. By Air
Portland International Airport (PDX) is just across the river from Southwest Washington and only 10 minutes from downtown Vancouver.  The airport is served by more than 14 regional, national and international airlines.  There are also many national car rental agencies that operate out of this airport.  For general information, call 877-739-4636 or log onto http://www.flypdx.com/. From PDX there are two airport shuttles with services to the Vancouver area:

Clark County has two airfields that accommodate private aircraft:  Pearson Airfield, near downtown Vancouver, 360-735-9441, and Grove Field, near the Port of Camas/Washougal (no FBO), 360-835-2196.

By Rail
Vancouver’s passenger station sits at 1301 West 11th Street near downtown. The refurbished historical site was built in the early 1900s. By Bus
The Vancouver Greyhound Bus terminal is conveniently located at 613 Main Street in downtown Vancouver.  Fare and schedule information is available by calling 800-231-2222 or 360-696-0186 or by visiting www.greyhound.com.

Public Transportation
C-Tran, the county's public bus service, has 27 routes covering Clark County and connecting into Portland. C-Tran also offers curb-to-curb service for people who are unable to use regular service, as well as carpool and vanpool services.
