THE SWCVB ANNOUNCES DEBBIE PICARD AS CONVENTION SALES MANAGER
VANCOUVER, Wash. – Debbie Picard has accepted a new position with the Southwest Washington Convention and Visitors Bureau as Convention Sales Manager.  Picard has been with the organization for just over two years focusing on tourism development and group tour sales.  As Convention Sales Manager, she will be responsible for generating leads and bringing meetings, conventions and group tours to Vancouver and Clark County.  Picard has a strong background in sales, and has worked in the Clark County market for over 14 years. » read more (PDF)

CLARK COUNTY HOSPITALITY PARTNERS TRAVEL TO OLYMPIA IN SUPPORT OF TOURISM
VANCOUVER, Wash. – February 10, 2010 - The Southwest Washington Convention & Visitors Bureau along with partners from Clark County’s hospitality industry joined fellow tourism industry representatives from across Washington State in Olympia yesterday, Tuesday February 9th, to show how critical tourism is to the states economy. BUREAU ANNOUNCES 2010 BOARD OF DIRECTORS
VANCOUVER, Wash. – February 2, 2009 - Southwest Washington Convention & Visitors Bureau announces the newly elected directors and officers of their 2009 Board of Directors.  Effective January 1, 2009, Gerry Link, General Manager of Hilton Vancouver Washington, assumed the position of Board Chair.  Alison Hite, General Manager of SpringHill Suites, assumed the position of Vice Chair, and Brian McClary, Director of Operations for The Heathman Lodge, assumed the position of Secretary/Treasurer.  Carla Rise, General Manager of Residence Inn, Kari Jonassen, General Manager of Homewood Suites, and Dan Himes, General Manager of McGrath’s Fish House joined the Board as newly elected directors.
